YOGA AT THE COMMON GROUND STUDIO

YOGA FOR WOMEN
Monday and Wednesday at 9:30-10:30 a.m.
WALK-INS WELCOME- $5 per class
These classic hatha yoga classes build strength and flexibility in a comfortable, casual setting. Teacher Sylvia Freeman is certified under the Yoga: Body, Mind & Spirit training program and has 10 years experience as a toga teacher. These classes serve skill levels 1-2. Please bring your own mat and props if you have them.

CO-ED YOGA: FLOW, STRENGTHEN & STRETCH
Saturdays at 9:00-10:00 a.m.
WALK-INS WELCOME- $5 per class
This Iyengar-based hatha yoga class focusses on flexibility and strengthening and is designed for all levels. It’s perfect for athletes, people with limited flexibility or long-time practitioners looking to specify alignment and accuracy in their poses. Teacher Rachel Klem is certified under the Yoga: Body, Mind & Spirit training program and has been practicing Yoga for 25 years and teaching for 10. Please bring your own mat and props if you have them.

Why so cheap? We don’t have the same overhead as a studio and can charge quite a bit less per session because of this. We also don’t offer some of the amenities of a studio- practitioners must bring their own mats and props. But beyond that we believe yoga is a necessity, not a luxury.
