In this class we’ll work on how to go beyond “Yes, and….” to make your scenes more fun for you and the audience. I’ll show you some new ways to use the audience suggestion to inspire your scenes. We’ll explore how different types of edits and callbacks can shape a piece. Most importantly I’ll look at what you’re specifically doing in scenes to help make you aware of all the tools you already have at your disposal but may not be using.
If you feel stuck in your head or on the sidelines in shows – this class can help.
If your scenework choices have become flat and boring to you – this class can help.
If you want personal feedback to help you stretch as a player – this class can help.
Here’s what past participants have said about these classes:
Deborah Klinger, fatMouth: I’ve taken improv with several different teachers, but I learned some things in this class that I’d either never heard or never taught before. I really appreciate not only what you taught us, but your teaching style – warm and supportive; you critique and give candid feedback without being critical.
Regina Bartolone, All Play and formerly of Transactors: I am not over-stating things when I say that everything was helpful and precisely what I needed.
Kim Andrews, DSI: I loved the fact that you found my weakness immediately. I especially appreciate that your side coaching told me what to do rather than what not to do.
I can honestly say these classes are some of the most fun and rewarding experiences I’ve had as a teacher. I hope that you’ll join us for this one. I feel sure that you’ll get a lot out of it.

Why so cheap? We don’t have the same overhead as a studio and can charge quite a bit less per session because of this. We also don’t offer some of the amenities of a studio- practitioners must bring their own mats and props. But beyond that we believe yoga is a necessity, not a luxury.
